Jane Leonardson, MD founded Leonardson Correctional Health, LLC (LCH) to fundamentally improve correctional health outcomes for incarcerated populations.  

Through LCH, Dr. Leonardson provides a diverse range of advisory medical services and litigation support to county, state and federal correctional health systems as well as litigation support in correctional medicine suits.

Dr. Leonardson has spent her entire career working and leading change in Correctional Health at both the county and state levels.  She has invested approximately 25 years as a patient-facing physician providing direct health care in a correctional setting, a Facility Medical Director at two prisons, a Regional Director with medical oversight and management of 25 prison healthcare facilities, and  a Chief Medical Information Officer for a large state prison system.  Dr. Leonardson also has extensive experience as a correctional health executive and in the design and implementation of EHR systems to both fundamentally improve and sustain patient outcomes and provide data to inform quality improvement efforts and  litigation support.

Dr. Leonardson is a graduate of Augustana College and from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.  She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics.  Additionally, Dr. Leonardson is a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma and in Lean Methodology by Villanova University.
